Have you ever wondered how sugarcane is processed or salt is extracted? If so, this is a great tour for you—you’ll come face-to-face with the places and people who make some of Panama’s tastiest and most impressive goods.

Witness the many products of sugarcane—including a sugarcane juice called “guarapo,” traditional sugarcane honey, and artisanal sugarcane liquor. You’ll see how salt is harvested from the Pacific Ocean and learn how clay pottery is crafted. Finally, you’ll discover how La Arena’s famous bread is baked and sample fresh loaves. ** **
